Friend-Raising and Volunteers

The NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) Foundation is dedicated to assisting NorthShore in fulfilling its mission to "preserve and improve human life." The Foundation serves as the philanthropic entity of NorthShore. We actively engage volunteer friends and invest in community partnerships that result in generous charitable contributions to advance the mission of NorthShore and demonstrate our commitment back to the community. NorthShore offers various opportunities for community members that encourage volunteerism and philanthropic support, including the following:

Auxiliary Volunteer Groups and Events
The Auxiliaries (Evanston and Glenbrook & Highland Park), Associate Board, Women's Board of Skokie Hospital and The Myra Rubenstein Weis Health Resource Center sponsor a number of events throughout the year for members and friends. Our members plan educational, community service and fund-raising programs that support vital research and services at NorthShore.

Physicians Engagement in Philanthropy
